Sainte Alvere is a typically French village, once dominated by a huge castle destroyed in the revolution, today Ste Alvere is famous for its winter truffle market.
Maison des Reves is just a twenty minute drive from Bergerac airport, which is served by regular flights from Budget Airlines including Ryanair and Flybe.
Bordeaux international is a two hour drive, mostly on motorways, but with an option of taking the scenic wine route via Ste Emilion.
